What this project needed to solve

The Mini Soccer Field Booking System is a full-stack web application designed to streamline the entire booking process for sports field operations. Built with PHP and MySQL, this system provides both public-facing booking interfaces and powerful administrative tools. The platform handles everything from customer bookings and payment tracking to facility management and promotional campaigns, making it an all-in-one solution for sports venue management.

The system features intelligent time slot management, automated booking expiration, multi-channel notifications (Email and WhatsApp), member discount programs, and comprehensive analytics through an intuitive admin dashboard. It supports dynamic pricing based on weekday/weekend schedules, promotional discount periods, and flexible operational date configurations.

Challenge

What made the work difficult?

My client just opened a new mini soccer field business and wanted all transactions handled through a website - no phone bookings, everything online. As a self-taught developer still early in my journey, this was both exciting and daunting.

The client had a clear vision but limited technical knowledge. They wanted
